Looking Good & Staying Physically Fit is important to many people today. As we age, health issues may happen so trying to stay fit, active, eating right and exercise may counteract the health issues that could arise with aging. See your physican every 6 months for an overall check-up including a routine blood test. You bring your car in for an oil change every 6 months or so ~ well you can do this for your body as well.
Here are some tips for successful weight loss:
Set achievable goals for yourself. It is never to late to start like the present so ~ start today. Journal your fitness program as you exercise and eat right. It is important that you set a weight lose goal for yourself and stick to the plan daily. For example ~ if you need to lose 30 pounds and have set your target goal for 6 months, then you will need to stay on your fitness plan for the time you set. Just think ~ after 6 months you will wear your skinny jeans again.
Stock your pantry with healthy foods and snacks. Throw out fattening foods with high sugar and carbs. Eat healthy, vegetables, fish and chicken. Bake not fry and look for fast healthy recipes to eat that won't keep you in the kitchen all day. Also place a skinny photo of yourself on the refrigerator so that everytime you open the refrigerator you will see your photo ~ and that cream pie you were going to eat, you may pass for your healthy vegetable plate.
Avoid places where you will be tempted to eat more than you should like fast food restaurants which food is high in salt and fat. Bring your lunch to work, when you are out an about in your car, bring healthy snacks with you so you won't be tempted to stop for that hamburger and french fries. Eat 6 small meals a day so you can maintain your sugar level and metabolism.
Surround yourself with people who support you in your goal for weight loss. Connect with positive people who are also on a weight lose program. Jog with a friend, look for healthy recipes on the Internet and stay focused on your goals.
